Vertical Ripple | Natural Indigo Hand-Tie-Dyed Fringed Scarf
Inspired by the quiet rhythm of repeating lines, Vertical Ripple brings together traditional indigo resist-dyeing and clean contemporary geometry in a versatile piece of wearable textile art.
Each scarf is individually folded, bound, and repeatedly dipped by hand in natural plant-based indigo. Against the light fabric, vertical indigo stripes emerge in varying widths, depths, and intensities, creating a rhythmic composition of blue and white.
The softly blurred edges and subtle shifts between deep indigo, pale blue, and natural white are created by the dye moving organically through the bound fabric—not by conventional printing. Because every stage is performed by hand, variations in stripe width, color depth, gradient, and negative space occur naturally. No two scarves are exactly alike.
Made from exceptionally soft, lightweight modal fabric, this generously sized scarf drapes beautifully while remaining breathable and comfortable. Hand-finished fringe at both ends adds movement and texture to its clean geometric composition.
Wear it as an oversized scarf, shawl, wrap, or beach cover-up—or bring its graphic indigo pattern into the home as decorative textile art.

Please Note
Every scarf is individually folded, tied, and dyed by hand using natural plant-based indigo. Variations in stripe width, placement, gradient, color depth, and softly blurred edges are natural characteristics of the handmade resist-dyeing process and make every piece truly one of a kind.
Natural indigo may release a small amount of color during early washes and gradually develop a softer patina with use. This evolving character is part of the beauty of traditionally handcrafted indigo textiles.
